After working for 14 years as a Nurse at Northern Center and 11 years at a nearby nursing home, I realized more adult family homes were needed in the area.

In 1995, I started Riverview Manor in Cadott, Wisconsin, with the first Adult Family Home License in the State. We expanded over the past ten years to five homes and an activity center, and changed our name to JLH Enterprises. We presently provide services to 14 Wisconsin Counties.

As a family-run business, we are involved in every aspect of caring for our residents. We care for our residents and employees like family.

All of our homes are located in the Village of Cadott, a small town approximately 35 miles Northeast of Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

We pride ourselves in furnishing and maintaining our homes in the best manner possible. Our homes are just like any fine family home in the area. All homes have a fireplace, covered patio, and/or deck, common living areas, and activity or other rooms. Most residents have their own bedrooms. We can accommodate some personal possessions and furniture for our guests. Several of our facilities are wheelchair accessible.

If physically possible, residents are taken by our vans to our activity center several times per week to work on games, crafts, other activities, or just to relax. Our experienced Activity Director works with all the residents to keep them active and involved.

We presently have five homes and are expanding to accommodate additional clients.  Because all of our facilities are unique, we have a variety of options available for any new residents.  We take into consideration the home, the setting, and any physical limitations, to place each individual in the best possible setting.  We also consider the personalities of the other residents, as well as personal preferences, to ensure each person is as comfortable as possible in their new home.
